A cheeseboard is the quintessential appetizer to bring for Friendsgiving, or if you are a Turkey Day guest (aka sans your own guest space.) My sister’s charcuterie board from last year still gives me butterflies, I loved it! The key to pulling it together is adding in some seasonal items to make it look festive – in this case simply adding a cut pomegranate and some faux leaves.
To turn the board into a gift, consider buying a fun cheese knife set and board for the hostess. And to make shopping easy, add the following to your shopping list to easily assemble a crowd-pleasing board! All of the ingredients should be easy to find at any major grocery store.
- Package of prosciutto
- Spicy Salami
- 2 packages of your favorite wheat crackers
- Cranberry goat cheese
- Brie wedge
- Blue cheese and/or a hard cheese, like aged Gouda
- Fig, cherry or pepper jam in its own little bowl, or straight from the jar
- Grapes
- Pomegranate
- Faux leaves
